UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL IN NEWARK CAN , BUT WILL NOT SAVE JUDY'S LIFE.

It seems that if you weigh 600 lbs from just abusing food to death for whatever emotional reasons you may have, even if your an ex-con, you can get a heart transplant.

Judy has never so much as had a parking ticket, She has beat one of the rarest forms of cancer, her son was hit by a car and had severe brain damage, she dedicated her life to taking care of her disabled son, and in the end with his death at 19 (two months ago/ in the attached picture) she needs a liver to take care of her only remaining son, guess what....sorry, we just can't. The University Hospital in Newark, NJ is just going to watch the toxins in Judy's body slowly kill her and let her family watch this as well. Why? Because there is a document from the admitting hospital where someone stated Judy allegedly drank alcohol regularly. There is no evidence that shows a history of alcohol abuse. Did she drink? Yes...but only socially. If this information was not given to the ER when first admitted (which much is grossly inaccurate), she would have a liver by now. The University Hospital in Newark, NJ is using this information to kill her.

OK, step 100 at this point. After trying to get in touch with the CEO of the hospital we were given the assistance of a patient rep, who has been outstanding up to this point, of getting the whole family a meeting with the DRs who could save her life but have elected not to do so, even with Judy's unusual and difficult set of circumstances. I wonder if the surgeon would let his daughter die if it was her there instead of Judy? I'd be willing to bet my liver she would get a transplant. Anyway, we are going to St Clair hospital (the admitting hospital before the transfer to The University Hospital in Newark, NJ) to see if we can get a letter stating that these alleged statements may are not correct. We are also going to get a letter from Judy's family doctor (that has been treating her for more than 10 years) that states that there has never been a problem with alcohol. We then need to take all of this additional paperwork and plead our case to any and all hospitals in the Tri-State area that will give Judy the liver that she so desperately needs to survive.

We need the name of a liver transplant surgeon at any liver transplant hospital in the Tri-State area that WILL approve the transplant. I know I have a few high profile friends on FB, maybe you could pull a few stings. Without this transplant Judy has a 10% chance to live. If you saw her now, you would not even know who she was.

I would like to see a miracle today if not from God, then from our efforts. Love you all for all the support!!!!

Ali Rae Echevarria How would the hospital know she abused alcohol? That is just ridiculous and should not have anything to do with saving her life. I know someone who drank alot then need a liver transplant and got one and still drinks alot...

April Lewczak-Echevarria All hospitals ask the same questions: Do you smoke, drink alcohol, use street drugs. It's in case of a medication contraindication. If her bloodwork came back within normal limits, it shouldn't matter. What ever happened to the oath?

HelpJudy.com Hello Donna, we are working on finding a Surgeon in the Tri-State area that will approve Judy for the transplant. Because of the negligence of the admitting hospital the paperwork is stacked against her. We are attempting to have that corrected this morning. Any connections to Dr's that will even listen to our plea is really what we need.

Purpose: Getting everyone “on the same page” with respect to USSSA Program, including Leagues, Tournaments, and Rules

Ground Rules for the Day:
Team Managers Meeting runs now until completed…depends on Q&A
Batting Cages will be open starting at 9:45am
Bat Testing available starting at 9:45am (Two for $1)
Lunch is available (not provided) for those who care to stay for Clinic, lunch will be available from approx. 11am until approx, 1pm

Vendors: Each vendor will be given an opportunity to present what they have to offer in 3-5 minutes in front of the entire crowd
