Just home from the Darius Rucker/Lady Antebellum concert. Such a beautiful night for an outdoor concert. Loved watching Abby sing along. Music was excellent!
The Art of Giving Award for this week goes to the band, Lady Antebellum. They went to Henryville, Indiana and played for the Henryville High School student body at their Prom after a F-4 tornado leveled their buildings of higher education. This is an extraordinary outreach by Lady A. They raised $285,000 in a concert after the prom to help rebuild Henryville. This is another great story that won't make the front page of the paper. More than likely the headlines of tomorrows paper will deal with Meth-heads, infidelity, murder, and the Kardashians.......and so it goes.
